This photo clearly shows the difference between a standard set of tracks and our amphibious tracks. The original standard tracks for the Hyundai 290 are on the left, just in front of the Mud Boss excavator now mounted on its all-terrain base. It’s easy to see that on the all-terrain base our excavators can go just about anywhere!
This video shows typical operating conditions for our all-terrain excavators. They easily work in material of soupy consistency.
Dragflow Slurry Pump mounted on Mud Boss Long Reach Boom
Our Dragflow HY85 Slurry Pump can pump a slurry at 350 cu.m/hour with a 40:60 mud/water mix. Mounted on our Mud Boss excavator’s 16 metre long reach boom we can pump mud from virtually any place on site and move it using just one machine and operator.
The long reach boom allows the Mud Boss excavator to clear mud close to the highwall at Broadmeadow mine.
Watch the tracks as the excavator swings around to see how the amphibious base allows the Mud Boss excavator to be stable in sloppy conditions.
The Mud Boss excavator loads mud into artic’s at Broadmeadow mine in Central Queensland.
